About the foundation

A second home for the first steps.

Founded by AMBONELSON, TK Al Husna is based in Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru, as a warm, safe, and meaningful learning garden for children aged 4–6. We combine play-based learning, Islamic values, and a close partnership with parents.

As a nonprofit education service, the support we receive goes back into children's learning needs: learning materials, activities, healthy meals, and scholarships. We believe children do not need to be rushed—they need to be heard, given room to try, and accompanied.

  • Nonprofit & community-based Managed for the sustainability of education, not for private interests.
  • Welcoming and safe A warm environment with clear boundaries and close guidance.
  • Together with parents Regular communication about children's development and daily life.

Dhuha prayer & Qur'an recitation

Prayer and du'a habits with warm guidance.

Motor skills & social

Learning approach

Learning that feels like play.

At Al Husna, play is not a break from learning. Play is how children understand the world, practice language, manage emotions, and discover their own ideas.

Children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and involved.
01

Play with purpose

Every game is designed to strengthen one or two skills, not just to fill time.

02

The child as the subject

Children are given choices, room to try, and a chance to tell their discoveries in their own words.

03

Warm guidance

Teachers are role models and guides, holding safe boundaries without dimming children's courage.

04

Partnership with parents

Children's development is discussed through regular communication, a home-school book, and parent meetings.
